Steinfeld Calling - Ein Festival der kulturellen Vielfalt

"Steinfeld Calling" is a festival to experience the cultural diversity and innovative strength of our region and to focus on both tradition and sustainability.

The festival combines cabaret, modern performance and music. In collaboration with Alanus University Bornheim, a digital light installation is being developed that tells the story of the monastery. This project offers young talents in the field of digital light performance the opportunity to develop their creativity and present it to a wide audience. Students will promote the festival digitally.

Musically, we will strengthen cooperation across national borders: Music groups from the Eupen area will contribute to the musical program, setting an example for EuRegio cooperation. Groups of pupils from the local grammar school will perform at the mass and a choir and an orchestra of national artists will provide a classical music performance. The festival is particularly attractive for families with children: Small artists will liven up the program and a hands-on circus will provide entertainment for the youngest visitors.

The focus is on sustainability: In the food area, we rely on the concept of the manufacturer "PAPSTAR", in which compostable materials are used and completely recycled.
