Every year from the end of March to the beginning of May, a unique spectacle takes place in the meadow valleys of the upper Oleftal. The wild ‘yellow daffodil’ stretches out towards the sun in its millions and transforms the meadows in the area of the North Eifel Nature Park into carpets of yellow flowers. The heralds of spring look very similar to their garden sisters, the daffodils, but are only slightly smaller.

You can explore the blossom magic along the two signposted circular trails on your own or with an expert guide. The starting point is always the ‘Hollerather Knie’ car park near Hellenthal-Hollerath on the B265. Sturdy footwear required!

Participation is possible without registration .
