It was a man named Hans Bast Nikolai, and his associates, whom he gathered around him, formed the Mosel Gang. This Mosel Gang particularly wreaked havoc in the milling milieu. However, the former elite soldier Hans Bast Nikolai from the small village of Krinkhof was not just a bandit leader. He was said to possess supernatural powers. The people in his village and many others feared and revered this exceptional figure.
