Klassiker auf dem Vulkan: Cat Ballou

Welcome to "Classics on the Volcano" 2026

On July 3rd, the Gemündener Maar will become an open-air stage for Cat Ballou. The Cologne band has been at the forefront of Kölsch pop for years: energetic live shows, anthemic choruses, and lyrics that hit right to the heart. With their hit "Et jitt kei Wood," Cat Ballou has gotten a generation to sing along; with "Liebe deine Stadt" (featuring Mo-Torres and Lukas Podolski), they made a strong statement for unity. On stage, they combine pop, rock, and Kölsch sounds into a sound that is both radiant and approachable – always with a direct connection to the audience.

The concert will start at 8:30 PM with the opening act "Scharmöör," followed by Cat Ballou taking the stage!

In the event that an open-air event must be moved indoors due to weather conditions, compatibility of the purchased seat with the conditions of the hall plan cannot be guaranteed. Also, the catering offer or picnic must be omitted in case of an indoor relocation due to weather.
