New permanent exhibition "Jewish Life in Wittlich" in the former synagogue in Wittlich

The members of the working group "Jewish Community Wittlich", the staff of the Emil Frank Institute and the Cultural Office are the founders of the AG "New Permanent Exhibition". For years they worked together on a new exhibition concept and its implementation. Dr. Marianne Bühler, Franz-Josef Schmit, René Richtscheid and Elke Scheid have created the current exhibition with a lot of dedication and commitment, which fits into today's time. It is understandable, especially for young people. The focus of the exhibition is on the people it is about: the former citizens of Wittlich of Jewish origin. The aim of the exhibition is to make these people "come alive" and to capture their history and personality so that the memory of them remains alive.
