On May 6, 2026, in the Altstadt Bookstore, Burgstraße 36, in Wittlich, Stephen Dürr welcomes you to the reading evening "Arctic Blizzard".

Stephen Dürr, born in Hamburg and father of twin daughters, is a versatile artist who became known as an actor through successful German TV series such as "Unter uns", "In aller Freundschaft", and "Alles was zählt".
With "Arctic Blizzard", he now presents his first novel – a gripping story whose authenticity is thanks to years of research on various units of the German Navy. On frigates, corvettes, submarines, in helicopters and planes – from South Africa to the Arctic, from Eckernförde to Nordholz to Wilhelmshaven. Stephen Dürr also gained further insights in government circles in Berlin and with an intelligence agency.
The time spent on research took him to places that would otherwise have remained closed to him – an experience the author considers a great enrichment of his life.
