Dragon boat race in Woffelsbach Bay

The dragon boat race in Woffelsbacher Bucht is always held at the beginning of the summer and thrills participants and guests alike.

This year, for the 17th time, it will be organised by the Wasser Sportfreunde Aachen (www.wsa-ev.de). This is primarily a fun event where different teams, e.g. companies, clubs or neighbourhood teams, with 16-20 people, race 200 metres in a dragon boat against wind and waves on Lake Rursee for the best times. No previous experience is required, dragon boat equipment and steering personnel will be provided. Food and drink will also be provided. The entry fee per team is 250 euros.
