The Pulvermaar is idyllically nestled in an old beech forest. It is the deepest maar in the Volcanic Eifel and is one of the deepest natural lakes in Germany. It has a lot to offer us. Even its formation was a mighty, powerful act of nature. On a relaxing walk, you will learn more about the formation of the maar lake, its flora and fauna and its legend. Experience yourself as part of nature, which we will see from a different perspective and with all our senses on our tour.
