When imagination comes to life.....To conclude and highlight the experience week, the AG Laacher See, in cooperation with the OG Niederdürenbach, is once again hosting the unique and enchanting Lantern Festival in Hain. The colorful market and festival activities begin at 2 PM and reach their grand peak with the unique simulated volcanic eruption of Burg Olbrück at 11 PM. A diverse cultural and experiential program for small and large visitors completesthe splendid festival.

The path takes visitors through the colorfully decorated streets, along courtyards and market stalls in the enchanted little town of Hain. When night falls, the place at the foot of Castle Olbrück resembles a dazzling sea of lights. Wizards and stilt walkers cross
the path, and there is a vibrant market atmosphere with art and craft stalls in the alleys. On the RPR stage, "Sound & Smoke" will put the visitors back in a party mood.
Step in – to the world of fantasy.
Where everyday life ends and fantasy becomes reality. Enchanted alleys, lively courtyards, and glowing paths invite young and old to discover new worlds. During the day, a diverse program full of play, art, and fantasy awaits the visitors. As twilight sets in, the place at the foot of Castle Olbrück transforms into a stage of light, music, and fire.
The highlight is a monumental spectacle of light projections and fire – the volcano awakens. A festival between dream and reality.
