The Eifel Nature Centre in Nettersheim is a supra-regional centre for environmental education with exhibitions on nature and history. Since 1989 it has been bringing people closer to the natural and historical treasures of the Eifel with its exhibitions and events. The topics addressed are based on the geological, historical and ecological diversity of the natural and cultural landscape of the Eifel. The central task of the Eifel Nature Centre is environmental education, with a focus on extracurricular environmental education and adult education. The educational concept of "grasping through experience" offers schoolchildren, interested lay people and experts both experience-oriented and professionally sound events.
