The Aueler Drees
You will find one of two mineral springs in the stream valley area below the Eichholzmaar. The Aueler Drees, can be reached in a few minutes on foot via the volcano path from the Eichholzmaar. The mineral spring provides CO2-containing water, which has a high iron and manganese content. This illustrates the reddish discoloration of the spring pool. From April to October you have the opportunity to participate in the regular tours of the local association “Eifelverein”.
