Gemünden maar nature pool

Surrounded by beech trees you find the Gemündner Maar, the smallest of the Dauner Maare. The brave of heart can simply jump head-first into the open-air pool, even from a 7.5-metre diving tower. Meerfeld maar nature pool

The view from the "Landesblick" observation tower is impressive: around 200 metres below, the Meerfelder Maar glistens, gently embedded in the largest maar funnel in the Eifel. But only part of the 1,700-metre-long cauldron is covered with water.

Aktiv Gesund Parcours

In the natural setting of GesundLand Vulkaneifel, 14 stations habe been set up for sporting acitivities and to maintain flexibility. The stations require strength, endurance and coordination. This means that the whole body stays in top form. Keep fit!

Wildlife and adventure park Daun

There is a car trail through the park, which is about 8 km long. The animals can move about freely in the large grounds, and thanks to the platforms provided, where there is an opportunity to exit from the car, they are familiar with having contact with visitors.

Laurentiusbad Daun

The indoor swimming pool "Laurentiusbad" in Daun is open to the puplic. Water temperatur is about 28°C. Area for swimmers is 10,00m * 15,00m * 1,80m, for non-swimmers:10,00m * 10,00m * 0,55m – 1,25m (adjustable height) The pool area is suitable for the disabled and uses a mobile lifter. public parking area is closed to the market place.

Schalkenmehren maar nature pool

The Schalkenmehren maar is the largest of the three Daun maars. Here, you can not only enjoy nature and the fresh air during your walk, but can also cool off in the maar.
