Surrounded by beech trees you find the Gemündner Maar, the smallest of the Dauner Maare. The brave of heart can simply jump head-first into the open-air pool, even from a 7.5-metre diving tower. The view from the "Landesblick" observation tower is impressive: around 200 metres below, the Meerfelder Maar glistens, gently embedded in the largest maar funnel in the Eifel. But only part of the 1,700-metre-long cauldron is covered with water.
In the natural setting of GesundLand Vulkaneifel, 14 stations habe been set up for sporting acitivities and to maintain flexibility. The stations require strength, endurance and coordination. This means that the whole body stays in top form. Keep fit!

The Schalkenmehren maar is the largest of the three Daun maars. Here, you can not only enjoy nature and the fresh air during your walk, but can also cool off in the maar.
