Eifel-Therme Zikkurat: Bathing and sauna area, children's area, giant slide, whirlpool, indoor and outdoor area with sunbathing lawn, treatments, events, massages and courses, bistro & restaurant The bathing landscape of the adventure pool guarantees both experience and relaxation and offers interesting possibilities for every visitor. "Sporty" guests can do their laps in the approx. 29°C warm water of the sports pool or perform daring jumps from the three- or one-meter board. The toddlers' area is separated from the other water areas so that our little visitors are not disturbed by the "big ones". In the warm bath the muscles that cover the blood vessels relax involuntarily. This causes the vessels, including those around the heart, to relax further. This relaxation means that the resistance in the circulation decreases. As a result, the heart is burdened by the heat on the one hand, but is relieved by the reduced resistance on the other. All other body tissues are also supplied with blood more than usual, thus being more "flushed through" and cleansed of metabolic waste products. The alternating baths - sauna heat followed by a Kneipp water shower - also strengthen the immune system. With regular sauna visits, you are quickly immune to colds. And sauna bathing also cares for the skin and makes it soft and smooth.

Angeln an der Kyll

The Kyll - a true paradise for fly fishing! The Kyll arises from the confluence of several source streams near the Belgian border. It is dammed to the Kronenburger See, continues to flow to Gerolstein and then swings south to the Moselle. Our fishing area is multifaceted and has several levels of difficulty, from a pure meadow stream to a densely overgrown river. Fish species: grayling, brown trout, chub, pike, white fish Guest angler season: March 16th to October 14th Route: The fishing area covers a river length of 15 km between Kronenburg, Stadtkyll and Jünkerath, divided into two lots marked with signs.
