Everyone has probably reached their limits during a bike tour, whether because the headwind is blowing stronger than expected or because there are more inclines on the chosen route than expected. Such cases are a thing of the past thanks to the e-bike.

An e-bike is a bicycle that is powered by the pedals, just like conventional bikes, but also has a battery. The motor power only kicks in when you start pedaling.

With an e-bike, even inexperienced cyclists can conquer the striking climbs of the Eifel with ease. Cyclists in good physical condition can extend their tours and reach heights with magnificent views almost effortlessly.

The battery charge lasts for approx. 70 - 90 km, depending on use, after which the battery must be connected to a regular power socket.

The e-bikes may only be used on designated cycle paths, paved paths or paths with a water-bound surface.
