The design of the "Himmel un Ääd" vacation apartment is based on the colors of nature (Himmel = tree, apples & Ääd = earth, potatoes) and the unity with the region. At the same time, its color scheme emphasizes the connection with more southern and Mediterranean regions. All stores for daily needs and restaurants in the main town of Burgbrohl (3 minutes by car) and the surrounding villages of Niederzissen and Brohl-Lützing. The next largest selection of shops and restaurants can be found in Bad Breisig am Rhein (10 minutes by car). Here you also have a tranquil Rhine promenade to stroll along. The small towns of Andernach, Sinzig and Remagen on the Rhine, Mayen on the edge of the Volcanic Eifel and the district town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler on the Ahr (currently being rebuilt after the devastating flood in July 2021) are also just a stone's throw away. One of the most highly recommended bakeries in the Brohl Valley and a butcher's shop that still produces its own meat are located in the neighboring village of Niederlützingen (Brohl-Lützing II - 2 km) on the same hill.
