Whether you are a hiking enthusiast or a cyclist. The bicycle and hiking trail starts right in front of the front door. You have a beautiful view into the Nimstal and can enjoy nature. Our sunny terrace invites you to linger with a view of nature. You can easily reach many excursion destinations from Rittersdorf. For example, the Bitburg reservoir, the Eifelpark Wild and leisure park in Gondorf, the Irrel waterfalls as well as the dinosaur park and the Teufelsschlucht nature park centre in Ernzen, Trier - the oldest city in Germany, picturesque Echternach (Luxembourg), the beautiful town of Bernkastel on the Moselle, the Maare lakes near Daun and much more. Beautiful landscapes, lots of nature, a good range of leisure activities and great sights - that's a holiday in the Southern Eifel! The local community of Rittersdorf is located in the Nimstal valley about 3 km north of the district town of Bitburg. A visit to the brewery there is well worth it!

Idyllically surrounded by two streams, our Country House Bachglück is situated in its natural state on the outskirts of Mülheim-Wichterich in Zülpich. Take some time out and relax in our tastefully designed and newly renovated holiday flats in unspoilt nature with sauna and wonderful view of the Eifel. Whether for just a few days or a longer break - our holiday home is an ideal starting point for many activities for connoisseurs and nature lovers, hikers, families, cyclists and discoverers of the Eifel. In the Landhaus Bachglück there are two holiday flats at your disposal. The cutting offers the ideal possibility to rent the upper or lower flat on request also as a common holiday flat. On your arrival you will find freshly made beds, fresh towels as well as a small nature set (soap, washing-up liquid, rubbish bag, dishcloth and sponge) for kitchen and bathroom as well as other small things for a good start into your holiday. In the inviting reception room we provide you with a wide range of brochures for your excursions and even the youngest guests will find a few things to play with. The holiday flat has free parking spaces in front of the house and if necessary we offer you the possibility to safely store your bikes for the night. Relax in our sauna After active hikes or great experiences in the fresh nature, our sauna offers you peace and relaxation. Especially when the snow covers the Eifel region with a white layer, our sauna area is a cosy place to recharge your batteries. Warm yourself up in the sauna in our country house Bachglück and relax your body and soul.If you wish, you can also book the use of the sauna for the duration of your stay. Out into nature, right at the front doorIn the Voreifel you will find excellent opportunities to fulfil your wishes and experience a relaxing and varied holiday. Right next to the house and in the immediate vicinity there are beautiful cycle and hiking paths, including one of the Eifel loops. Directly at the house the landscape invites you to long walks through the fields of the Zülpicher Börde. Also ideal for children is a bicycle tour to the Seepark Zülpich. Here you can expect a Mediterranean ambience and holiday atmosphere with a bathing beach, water sports facilities and a large play area.
