The Eifel Dream Short Quality Walking Trail runs around Mayen-Kürrenberg for at least five kilometres. The attractions along the way are the passages through mixed forest, which alternate with field and meadow sections with great views between Kürrenberg and the Nitz valley. 
The circular route begins in the middle of the forest, at the Rhododendron car park. We recommend that you follow the route in the clockwise direction. At the Bleiberg hut, you have a great panoramic view, and if you stop to rest on the curved “dream seats”, you will understand why the route is called “Eifel Dream”. Further along the way, there is an opportunity to refresh your feet in a natural Kneipp basin.
