from 4.00 € Jetzt anfragen
The Church of the Redeemer in Gerolstein is undoubtedly one of the places that guests should visit during their stay in the fountain town of Gerolstein. Millions of mosaic tiles, which make the interior of the church glow spectacularly depending on the incidence of light, bear witness to the wealth and power of the last German emperor.
The church can only be visited as part of a guided tour. The approximately one-hour guided tours, which are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:00 and 15:00 during the season from April to the end of October (subject to church dates), include both the foundations of the Roman villa rustica discovered during the excavation work for the construction of the church and the church itself.
The meeting point for the guided tour is at the entrance to the Church of the Redeemer, Sarresdorfer Straße 19, 54568 Gerolstein.
The ticket must be presented to the tour guide in digital or printed form.
There is a barrier-free entrance and plenty of parking on site!
Guests staying in member establishments of the Vulkaneifel Tourist Association receive free admission to the guided tour! (The special voucher for free entry must be presented at the entrance to the Church of Our Savior)!
