Lama-Wanderung zur Winterzeit

Unique experience of nature

The llamas are on the loose in Schönecken and look forward to hikers who travel with them through the nature reserve of Schönecker Schweiz. This is a treat for all the senses, especially during the wild garlic season. Hikes are monotonous? Guaranteed not with the animal support of the Eifel nomads. Because on a half-day tour through Schönecker Schweiz, participants are allowed to bring llamas with them. The gentle animals feel at home in the hilly nature reserve with its poor meadows. Every two participants share a llama. So there is always a time for the friendly animal while the other has eyes, nose and hands free to look for wild garlic. A llama hike is an all-round experience. During the four-hour tour, hikers can discover the cuddly animals from the Andes, get to know the Eifel again and learn interesting facts about wild garlic and other plants. Of course, the hikers have enough time for photo breaks with "their" llama on the 10 kilometer route. To lead a lama, hikers should be at least 10 years old. Unfortunately, dogs cannot be brought along.
