Depending on the weather, it is estimated that between five and seven thousand visitors populate the 200-inhabitant village, which is spruced up for Christmas. Crowded together, but still in a good mood, people enjoy the varied offerings of the selected stall holders. The standards are high: first and foremost, only goods that have been handcrafted by the operators themselves should be on offer and at the same time that certain homely Christmas flair should not be missing.

For the little ones, the nostalgic steam carousel turns nearby, "Frau Holle" reads fairy tales and "children's pottery" is on offer in the pottery workshop.

In front of the nativity scene with its life-size figures of villagers, St. Nicholas appears in the evening, accompanied by his little angel and the tower brass band, and distributes his gifts. They are joined by the Calmont alphorn players, who conjure up a fantastic Christmas atmosphere with their festive sounds.
