Christmas Concert

The soloists of the Munich Philharmonic consist of concertmasters, solo wind players, and other outstanding musicians. Together with the violist Wolfgang Berg, who was born and raised in Prüm, they are performing in this formation for the second time in the Prüm Basilica.
The exquisite ensemble is regularly heard at prestigious festivals both nationally and internationally and has presented itself in varying formations since its inception – from duo to octet and larger string configurations.
As soloists of the evening, the two deputy concertmasters Odette Couch and Iason Keramides, as well as the solo trumpeter of the Munich Philharmonic, Guido Segers, on the piccolo trumpet, will be featured. With works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Arcangelo Corelli, Charles Avison, and others, the concert promises a musical delight.
