3 Tageab 249.00 €

✔Distance hike ✔4 days ✔approx. 20 km ✔Ulmen to Cochem ✔Overnight stay in a hotel

The hike through the wild and romantic Endert Valley offers a unique and pristine nature experience. Put on your hiking boots and off you go.

The hike is divided into two stages, each a comfortable 10 kilometers long. You start in the historic town of Ulmen and soon immerse yourself in the unspoilt valley of the small river. Narrow paths on the slope lead down to bridges that cross the Endert and back up again to wide paths. Before the first stage ends at the Napoleonsbrücke hiking parking lot at Martental Monastery, a real highlight awaits you: The small "Rausch" waterfall, where the water of the Wilde Endert falls seven meters into the depths with a roar. A real natural spectacle!
The next day, you start your hike at the hiking parking lot at the Napoleon Bridge and hike towards Cochem. On the second stage of the hike, the Wilde Endert valley will completely engulf you: the pristine river valley will captivate you with its slate cliffs, moss-covered slopes and narrow paths. Numerous old mills and small bridges line the way. When you arrive in Cochem, you are greeted by charming little cafés and the town's landmark - the Cochem Reichsburg.
