The outdoor swimming pool is located next to the Rur and surrounded by the forrest. We have a generous lawn for sunbathing. Our big pool is divided into a swimmers and non swimmers area. We also have a playground, a beach volleyball court, ping-pong tables and a basketball hoop. You can buy drinks, ice cream and other food at our kiosk. It is two walking minutest from the stopp of Rurtalbahn to us.
This circular trail offers around 9 kilometers of unique heathland, idyllic mixed forests and babbling brooks. The Heidbüchel nature reserve offers fantastic views over the Eifel heights and between April and May, the gorse hedges bloom in bright yellow.
The "Historic School Trail" is marked by the hiking logo of the local community of Arft with a blue dot.
The "Sauren Buhr" near Volkesfeld is a state-approved mineral spring opened in 1967. Enjoy the healing effect of the tingly-cool "treasure" from the volcanic depths of the Eastern Eifel to the full!
