Stephan Orth has been experiencing Russia's war against Ukraine intensely from the very beginning. Through his Ukrainian girlfriend Julija, he has a special bond with the country. How are the people who stayed doing? What does their daily life look like, and what gives them hope? And what does all of this have to do with us?
With these questions, he travels to Ukraine. He stays with locals, listens to their stories, is impressed by their courage and will to live - and even helps out with the reconstruction. His moving report gives us a perspective that goes far beyond the war and is brought to us by Stephan Orth in a richly illustrated multimedia lecture.
