Every two years on the 3rd weekend in July, Roman life is brought back to life in Mayen - with a Roman camp, military demonstrations, crafts and much more.


Every two years on the 3rd weekend in July, Roman life is brought back to life in Mayen - with Roman camps, military demonstrations, crafts and much more. Life in Roman times is depicted in civilian and military camps in the area around the Grubenfeld Adventure Worlds. Clothing, equipment and everyday objects - everything is based on original antique items and text sources. A varied program promises an eventful weekend for visitors of all ages.
