Concert by MV Lüxem ‘Ghostship’ on 21 September 2025 on the large open-air stage at the fairground in Lüxem

Under the direction of Stefan Barth, the Symphonic Wind Orchestra presents a varied programme that will transport music lovers through two very interesting concert sections. In the first section, the audience can expect an exciting theme centred around ships and film music.
Among other pieces, the audience will hear the gripping title song ‘Ghostship’ about the shipwreck of the SS American Star off Fuerteventura, the dramatic music from the film ‘Das Boot’, which tells the story of a submarine in World War II, and an exciting medley from the popular ‘Star Trek’ film series.
The second part of the concert will transport listeners into the world of rock, pop and schlager music. Philipp Groetzner will enrich this part of the concert with his vocals.
