The Säubrennerkirmes in the district town of Wittlich is one of the largest public festivals in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The fair is traditionally heralded with the Säubrenner saga play on the open-air stage in the town park. Afterwards, actors and spectators move to the historic market square for the Siege Drink. The big parade on Saturday is also the starting signal for the sale of the popular Saubratens. On the market square, the Pariser Platz and in the Neustraße, the Wittlich winegrowers and selected wineries of the Moselle region offer a wide variety of delicious wines to enjoy. The unique funfair experience is completed by attractive live music on the two stages on the market square and on the Pariser Platz. The carnival in the upper town attracts with varied rides and guarantees carefree family fun!
