"Set the Table with Local Delicacies" Regional Market

Regional foods are in high demand and have now evolved from a passing trend into a long-standing favorite. These locally produced and processed products are characterized by short supply chains from producer to consumer; they are sustainable and resilient in times of crisis. At this year’s regional market on Saturday, September 19, in Ochtendung, numerous direct sellers from the Mayen-Koblenz district will once again be offering their products from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and hope to convince visitors of the diversity and quality of local produce.

Under the motto “Set the Table with Local Goodness,” this year’s event will once again feature everything a consumer’s heart desires: From seasonal fruits and vegetables, to meat and sausage products, bread and rolls, fresh and smoked trout, all the way to cheese, honey, pasta, high-quality oils, and spreads—there’s something for everyone. In addition, there will be juices, wine, vinegar, liqueurs, brandies, as well as preserved products and bee-friendly perennials.

This year’s event is organized by the Mayen-Koblenz Country Women’s Association with support from the Mayen-Koblenz district.
