The Eifelverein offers free guest hikes. today: Rossbach and Wacholderheide Bleckhausen


This free guest hike organized by the Eifelverein Manderscheid local group leads along the Lieserpfad trail, through the Roßbachtal valley to the juniper heath in Bleckhausen, a rare natural asset in the Eifel.

The meeting point is at the main entrance to the Eifelklinik Manderscheid, Mosenbergstraße

Important note: Hiking at your own risk and to the exclusion of any liability towards the association and the hiking guide

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather.

Please pack a drink (small rucksack food).

Duration: approx. 3 hours

    74. Stein-und Burgfest

    On the second weekend in September, the traditional stone and castle festival always attracts numerous people from Mayen and the surrounding area to the town center. A varied program awaits them all every year. On Saturday and Sunday, the craftsmen's and farmers' market at Genovevaburg Castle and in the castle gardens offers new and tried-and-tested products.
