After Michaelmas, the days become noticeably shorter and the evenings colder. Now it's time to bring our own light into the darkness! We want to build lanterns together, whose warm light will accompany us through the fall.

    Landscape hike with the "Volcano Gardeners" of the Eifelverein through the volcanic village of Steffeln to the Steffeln Volcano Garden. The former lava mining at the Steffelnkopf has decimated the volcanic cone, which used to be more than 600 m high. This exposed the volcanic layers inside. The exposed volcanic vent was converted into an experimental and educational volcano.
