Alternative operating systems for the computer - impulse lecture.

Computers require regular updates to ensure that they function reliably and securely. From October 2025, Microsoft will no longer offer updates for Windows 10 and will only support the current operating system. However, the Windows 11 version cannot be installed on older end devices. Does this mean you need to buy a new computer?

Fortunately, there are alternatives. In most cases, a computer with the Linux operating system can still be used - and therefore the purchase of a new device can be postponed for a few years. Some people are reluctant to do this because they fear that important applications will no longer work with the system. In this keynote speech, we will give you a concise presentation of the alternative options. You will be amazed at how easy it can be to switch.
