In the habitat of the beaver - open beaver tour


In July and August, we offer guided tours of the beaver's habitat. Registrations are possible until the previous working day. Participation is limited to 25 people and four-legged friends (on a lead) are welcome.

    Landscape hike with the "Volcano Gardeners" of the Eifelverein through the volcanic village of Steffeln to the Steffeln Volcano Garden. The former lava mining at the Steffelnkopf has decimated the volcanic cone, which used to be more than 600 m high. This exposed the volcanic layers inside. The exposed volcanic vent was converted into an experimental and educational volcano.
