Oktoberfest

For the 74th Stone and Castle Festival, the traditional hometown festival of the city of Mayen, visitors can expect a special premiere this year: For the first time, an Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, September 13, in the festival tent at the marketplace.

Entrance starts at 5 PM, and the music program kicks off at 7 PM with two lively live acts: the Oktoberfest band "Wies’n Stürmer" and the Kölsch cult band "Die Hofnarren". The Oktoberfest is organized by the city of Mayen in cooperation with the showman business Sascha Barth (Mainz). The event is funded as part of the federal funding program "Future-proof Inner Cities and Centers".

Secure your seat now – Reservation necessary

Entrance to the tent and seating is only possible with prior reservation. A reservation form is available at www.mayen.de/Oktoberfest. This can be filled out and sent by email with the subject "Oktoberfest" to marktamt@mayen.de. Entrance is only for ages 18 and older.

The reservation is free, but booking a Maß (beer, Radler, cola, etc.) is mandatory. The price per Maß is €10.50 and will be collected at the entrance.

A table can accommodate up to eight people. Since seating in the festival tent is limited, table reservations will be processed in the order they are received. A reservation is only considered binding after written confirmation and assignment of a table number. Unconfirmed requests will go on a waiting list.

Important: The reservation is binding. If you are unable to attend, please cancel by August 29 at the latest. After that, guests are required to find a replacement themselves.

The beer garden at the festival tent can be visited without a reservation – ideal for those who want to stop by spontaneously.
