"Hiking with the mayors" offers hiking enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the most beautiful sections of popular hiking trails, as well as previously undiscovered corners, together with the mayors of the three municipalities.

Lace up your hiking boots and hike with the mayors of the three municipalities Johannes Bell, Sebastian Busch and Jörg Lempertz through the magnificent landscape of the legendary Laacher See volcanic region.

The hike starts at 2 p.m. at the parking lot of the Natural History Museum.

The trail leads hikers through magnificent meadows and forests, past volcanic relics and through the unmistakable beauty of the volcanic region.

Halfway along the trail, hikers can enjoy a hearty picnic for refreshments.
