Franz Georg Severus Weckbecker was born in Sevenich on July 1, 1775

It is true that no street name in Münstermaifeld commemorates him, the millionaire, "Maifeld King", "castle butcher", "benefactor of the Maifeld". But shortly before her death, his youngest daughter Hyacinthe managed to get a memorial plaque erected in the provost's office. As in the Provost's House, we meet him on Münsterplatz, in the collegiate church, in front of his son Carl Franz's villa and at the graves of his family. This describes the path we want to follow in order to get as close as possible to the jubilarian
