    Eifelverein Hillesheim "Vulkanweg Hillesheim"

    The local circular hiking trail is being partially redesigned. It leads towards Walsdorf, through the dry maar directly into the Arensberg volcano, a Tertiary volcanic cone. The return path runs through the Walsdorf fields back to Hillesheim. A final break is planned.
