There comes a point in life when you ask yourself whether you have really done everything you wanted to do. This, or something similar, is what happened to the woman who has made the smock apron her trademark. One evening she took paper and pencil and drew up her personal to-do list to get done what life, her ex, the boy, s'Lisbeth and everyone else had prevented her from doing so far. From a senior citizen's driving licence, to Ayurveda cures, to trying to fall madly in love once again, to learning a new language or singing in a newcomer competition. As the "nation's smock apron", Alice Hoffmann chats her way through the programme in her parade role and makes it clear to us time and again that life doesn't work out the way it's supposed to.
