Welcome to Satzvey Castle! Twice a year, in spring and autumn, the beautiful moated castle near Mechernich invites you to its legendary knights' festival. Immerse yourself in the medieval market hustle and bustle on the 4.5-hectare castle grounds, admire the various goods and crafts of the 70 or so traders, and fortify yourself with home-made food and drink. Minstrels, jugglers and storytellers, knights' camps and proud knights on horseback will amaze young and old alike.
