Since 2015, there is again a large Christmas market with festively decorated wooden huts on the market square.

This market is organized by the MY community.

On all Advent weekends, visitors can browse the huts at the Mayen Christmas market on Fridays and Saturdays from 2 - 9 pm and Sundays from 11 am - 8 pm.

On Dec. 15 - during Christmas Shopping - the Christmas market also opens its cottages to make the day even more enjoyable.

From A for aniseed cookies, to K for candles and S for music boxes, to Z for cinnamon - everyone will find something to warm the heart. So you can find numerous Christmas decorations for your own home or even the one or other Christmas gift for loved ones. Afterwards, you can warm up with mulled wine and punch and enjoy treats such as almonds, waffles and cookies.

Lukasmarkt - Pferdemarkt

The annual horse market with show program takes place on the "Viehmarktplatz" in connection with the "Lukasmarkt" The show programme gives a look in the huge world of horses, with local colour... Iberian horses, Shire horses, mail coaches, Western horses and classical dressages are part of the all-day programme. The market is framed by a tent town with horse themed market stalls and small animal traders. The horse dealers are also part of the market this year.
