Experience Roman camp life live - there is much to discover! Here you will get exciting insights into the Roman everyday life. The community of interest "Classis Augusta Germanica" creates a Roman marching and craftsmen camp, where you can experience and learn a lot of interesting things. Great importance is attached to authentic garb and equipment in all representations. The basis of the representation is the principle of the open camp. Every visitor is free to move around and take advantage of what is on offer according to his or her needs. The members of the group are competent contact persons for questions. Children and adults may also experience at first hand how it feels to wear a chain mail, a Roman hero and a shield. You can also take great photos here as souvenirs. There are also regular demonstrations on daily life, armament and tactics in the Roman military. You can get small souvenirs and cold drinks at our museum store stand. Other program items are still being planned.
