Kupferstädter Christmas Days 2023

The popular Kupferstadt Christmas Days will soon open their doors - again with many interesting innovations. The Christmas Days will take place from 25.11. to 17.12.2023 at Alter Markt and around the castle in Stolberg. The doors are open on Saturdays from 3pm to 9pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 8pm. On the Kaiserplatz, the Weihnachtstreff offers Christmas conviviality every day from 17.11. to 30.12.23. The "Weihnachtstreff" is open Sundays to Thursdays from 12pm-8pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm-9pm. Also on Kaiserplatz, the opening of the Advent calendar windows with the City Starlights will take place daily at 5:45 pm from 1 December. After last year's premiere, this year's "Kupferstädter Weihnachtstagen" will once again have a special feature. In the beautiful ambience of the castle, four different themes will be offered on the four Advent weekends. So the Christmas market offers something new every week. On 17.12.2023 there will be an open Sunday in addition to the Christmas market.

An overview of the action days at the castle:

25-26.11. Pleasure and culture
Visitors can look forward to delicious mulled wine on the balcony of the castle with a lounge atmosphere and a view over the whole of Stolberg, knights' food and a great cultural programme.

02-03.12. Craft/market mile
Based on the market mile at the "Historic Old Town Autumn", young start-ups, artisans, artists and Stolberg businesses will offer their products. The stalls will stretch from the Rittersaal to Faches-Thumesnil-Platz. In addition, food trucks will cater for the physical well-being this weekend.

09-10.12. Castle Maiden
In addition to second-hand stalls, many great young entrepreneurs will be exhibiting products to make women's hearts beat faster.

16-17.12. Children's Christmas
On this weekend, the focus is on children. In addition to exhibitors offering special children's products, there will be various children's activities, shows by the City Starlights and Sarah Schiffer's singing farm.

Kaiserplatz

Mulled wine stall, sweets stall, snack bar, children's carousel, opening of the Advent calendar doors including a stage programme for children. Upper castle courtyard The Christmas market at the castle is limited to the upper castle courtyard due to the construction work as part of the castle concept. Different offers according to the respective theme weekends.

Old market

Mulled wine, snacks, stalls and live music on Saturdays. Burghaus Christmas stories for children, coffee and cake, live music on Saturday evening under the auspices of the KG Fidele Zunfthäre e.V.
