Dance into May and open-air concert On the night of May 1st, not only traditional May customs come to life, such as the lit May fire to drive away evil spirits, the May dance or the May jump. The Witches' Night at Satzvey Castle is the annual event for fans of old May customs, mysticism and music. Dressed as witches and wizards, they come in droves from all over Germany to experience a spectacular evening program with a wide variety of bands and to dance around the huge May fire. In addition to the mystical witches' market, the program also includes a unique open-air concert. Throughout the evening, imaginative witch creatures will be up to mischief in the nooks and crannies of the castle grounds, causing many a surprise.
