Stories of the fight of the elements and from the life of the people with Hanne Hebermehl
Little poems and stories on the Gerolstein rock path The four elements fire-water-earth-air were already the subject of heated discussions among the ancient natural philosophers on the question of the origin of life. These elemental forces have shaped our planet. They made continents move, mountains develop, created rocks and landscapes and finally brought forth life, which itself became a formative force of our earth. Our homeland, the Eifel, also tells the story of the battle of the elements. In the Gerolsteiner Land, two elements play the main role and show us their arts at every turn: Fire and Water. For millions of years, they have been creating the Eifel artwork over and over again. But is it fight or dance? Join me on an adventure hike on the Gerolstein Rock Trail, listen to the stories and help decide whether the forces are in a constant struggle or harmonious interplay.
