The combination of sea and rock salt creates a climate that can only be experienced in a comparable way by the sea.
The grotto consists of salts from the side mountains of the Himalayas and the Dead Sea. Special salt pans release minerals and trace elements into the air. This creates a microclimate similar to that at the sea. The salty air improves well-being, can strengthen the immune system and also have a soothing effect on illnesses.
The salt grotto, which is unique in the region, is covered on the ground with sea salt, e.g. from the Dead Sea. Around twelve tons of salt stone, which come from a mountain range of the Himalayas in Pakistan, are laid on the walls.
In a very natural way, the salts ensure that the ionized air in the grotto is saturated with iodine, magnesium, iron, potassium and calcium and enriched with selenium. The concentration of iodine and microelements is significantly higher than at the sea.
During the 45-minute stay in the grotto, with its constant, balanced room climate and a temperature of 19-22 degrees, the entire organism becomes more resistant and the physical resilience is increased. The humidity of 45 - 60% facilitates the rapid absorption of salty air, deep penetration into the respiratory tract and good absorption through the skin.
The salt grotto is barrier-free. The anteroom or the salt shop and the grotto itself are also easily accessible for wheelchair users or people with disabilities.
