The landscape cot scene is set up annually in the St. Michael Church in Monschau Höfen, from the beginning of December to the end of January. The 30-metre-wide and up to 10-metre-high nativity scene can be admired every day. Not only the nativity scene is something very special, because the "Singing Shepherd" Reiner Jakobs plays songs in the middle of the nativity scene and collects donations for the "Förderkreis Krebskranke Kinder im Klinikum Aachen e.V.". In 2022, he was able to collect more than 117,000 € in donations.
